girls from age group 15 to 35 were literally filling in all of the floors and were attacking the counters to make their purchases at the opening of h&m beirut. it opened on october 2, 2009 as an important part of the new beirutsouks in downtown beirut. background music was very good courtesy of gunther & stamina.
my first impression was niiiiiice, but after being there for a while i was gradually suffocating from all the people. as i was walking out for a breath of fresh air, more and more girls were still pouring in. i couldn’t help but be reminded of the episode of the matrix where agent smith was cloned a zillion times for the fight scene.

ps: there were rumors of beyonce being there on opening night. it turned out to be what it originally was – a rumor.
