despite having a small part of it open, beirutsouks is highly active in making sure that every active section is being used to its fullest.
beirutsouks hosts the beirut jazz festival of 2009 in a lovely outdoor venue, with a backdrop of: the port of beirut, the city lights, and an (almost) full moon.
the venue is right next to the historic building of L’Orient Le Jour.
hope beirutsouks organizers will maintain this energy in the longterm.
