visited the flea market better known as “Souk El A7ad”. hadn’t been there in AGES and forgot how much fun it is.

it started out by looking for halloween accessories, before you know it i forgot the reason i was there and was just immersed in the colors, the smells, the antiques, the clothes, the buyers, the sellers,….

interesting stuff are listed below in text, pictures, and videos.  enjoy !

  • old black and white pics of people and places. probably part of people’s family pictures that have been abandoned with time.
  • weird containers for juice
  • animals sold as pets
  • wedding dresses
  • old Apple iBook for sale for $70
  • old harddrives
  • remote controls for everything
  • electronic accessories
  • old lebanese currency denominations
  • colorful stack of books

    i used to get like 5 dvd’s for less than 10$usd …we just went there for the dvd’s haha

    yeah all sorts of dvds, computer software, used / new clothes,…almost everything. wedding dresses as well ;)

    oh u got to check out the flea market. it is an experience of colors, smells, and miscellaneous items across different historical periods. a friend was going and i just grabbed the opportunity, as like you i had been meaning to go for years but never did ;) added sleepless link to blogroll, u on twitter ?
