i was featured on Radio VDL (Sawt Libnan) on their morning session as they discussed technology, communication, lausocial.com, search engines, and social media.

despite the overall “technology is evil” approach the session started with, the presenter was overall open to technology and was interested in the recent changes.

topics that were covered:  gaming industry and possible addiction, farmville, wolfram alpha / google / bing, facebook, telephone.com, skype,…

Radio VDL (Sawt Libanan):

during a break in the radio show, there was the news. i took this as an opportunity to show the studio i was in and the recording process. you get to see the environment, the equipment, and the live radio process itself.

It’s really hard that the host doesn’t know a lot about the subject. You gave them a lot of useful info for their audience. I loved it when you mentioned why you are against the censorship.

thanks moe for your feedback and for pointing out the part that u liked.
i had to take into consideration the audience of the radio show that are interested in such topics but may not be as familiar with it as someone who has been on twitter for a while.

btw, i found it really interesting that she brought up the topic of Wolfram Alpha, yet was not familiar with twitter ;)

i have a good feeling about the next couple of years for lebanon and our growing interest and involvement in social media and online expression.

i am sure that one day in Leb the Internet won’t be a topic to discuss anymore but an economy for a lot of people ( It is now on a smaller scale). And as u said in the interview, we still need a fast reliable internet connection. i will add that whenever we’ll have it…The situation will change 180 degrees in few years. (Nchalla 3a wa2itna :)
